Derek Anderson was at an all-time worst on Sunday against the Bills -- even for him.
Dear Eric Mangini,
After watching Derek Anderson’s performance on Sunday, I came to one conclusion: Your IQ is obviously lower than DA’s 15.1 quarterback rating.
How can you sit on the sideline and watch your quarterback embarrass your team with a horrific 2-for-17, 23-yard and one interception performance, while letting the “future” of your team, Brady Quinn, sit on the bench?
Through 2.5 games this season, Anderson has wowed the new Cleveland coach, completing an impressive 39 passes in 84 attempts for 384 yards with 1 TD and 5 INT. These numbers are not good enough to warrant a starting job on a high school team let alone an alleged NFL team.
I don’t know if you get some sort of sick pleasure from watching Browns fans suffer, but please, for the love of God, stop the insanity. Anderson is not an NFL quarterback, and if you continue to march him out on the field and watch him throw the ball everywhere but to his own receivers – you sir, should not be an NFL coach.

I would like to say that I think Derek Anderson is a great QB. Just because he had a few bad games doesn’t mean that he is terrible. I expect great things for him in the future. He’s just getting warmed up.
